as i've said before, i'm usually on my oan threw the week, with the kiddo, and some times I even have two kiddo's. and it's hard for me to get out, even though I have a front to back carrier, he's just getting too heavy for it, he's over 30 pounds and my back is really starting to hurt me, and some times i have a 6 week old in the front and him in the back and it really does me in, some of my friends suggested using a stroler, but I feel so uncomfortable pulling it behind me. one of my friends draggs her's by the snack tray, and the other grabbs the handle and tips it back on the back two weels, and I'm not sure i agree with eather method. I know this is pritty normal for the blind population, and even in some cases in the sighted world, but I don't know if i can adapt to it. i've pushed him in his umbrella stroler by my self but it's pritty hard to do with one hand, and i have to keep the cain extended in front of the stroler and that's just a horible mixture. does anyone have any tips on different methods, or different equipment that makes travval easier with the kiddo's? i'm really not comfortable using the stroler, but it looks like that's going to be my oanly option before too long. i'd love to here how you guys do or have done it. he is walking now, but he's still too small to walk along side me holding my hand.
do not get back pain1!!!! once we hurt our back, we are never ever the same again!!!
The stroller can be fun if you getj one that has the handle that flips over. They do make these. I know that prago and greco, spelling do. These work well and are safe. I wouldn't pull a stroller by the snack tray. ouch!!! forget about the back wheels. both options seem unsafe.
What kind of backpack career do you have?
We got one from target, have to ask my wife to look up the brand, it cost $80, you could adjust it over the chest and the waist too, I've walked around for hours and hours and never had any back pain at all or discomfort with it. It is tiring of course and puts weight on your hips, but I found it absolutely excellent for carrying our little ones
Of course it only takes one so the other one would still be a problem.
Still, I will look up the brand if you would be interested to go to Target and try it out.
I have a top of the line back carrier made by ergo. there expincive and about the best thing your gonna find out there. still, he hurts my back, this is the best carrier we've found even after browsing threw wal-mart, target, toys / babys r us, and economy. does any one know about how much the grayco and peg peraigo strolers cost? I know peg peraigo is high dollar. thanks
